Eligibility and Membership Account

Only individuals aged sixteen (16) and above are eligible to sign up as a member. Yuupz LLP reserves the right to request for proof of age at any time.

Each member can only register for one Account for personal and/or non-commercial use and it is only applicable on an Apple iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or an Android device. It is non-exclusive and non-transferable.

By using this Site/App, you agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use, which govern your access to, and any information, graphics, text or other materials uploaded, downloaded, or appearing on our Site/App. If you do not accept any of these Terms and Conditions, please remove your member access from the Site/App.

In the event, if you choose to terminate your access at any time, such termination will result in the deactivation of your account and access to it.

Rewards and Redemption

Members can earn points known as “Yuupz Points” upon sign up, sharing your review experience or like and follow us on Facebook or Instagram which are eligible to redeem for the gifts or vouchers in the Redemption Catalogue.

Anytime you have enough Yuupz Points to redeem a reward, you can select the preferred rewards listed on the Catalogue.

The Yuupz points will never expire and you can accumulate and redeem whenever you are ready.

Transferring of Yuupz Points is not allowed between members. However, there are no restrictions in transferring redeemed Vouchers or Products to another recipient.

We may delay the issuance of Yuupz Points to you due to unforeseen circumstances such as technical issues or other issues that are beyond our control. We will rectify and issue the Yuupz Points once we resolve the issue.

You may check the number of Yuupz Points that you have accumulated from the Main Menu, redemption catalogue or your profile from the Mobile App.

Please ensure your details up to date as this will ensure successful deliveries when points are used for redemption. Yuupz LLP only mails out gifts and vouchers to a local mailing address.

Yuupz LLP reserves the right to deduct, delete or reject/refuse any Yuupz Points which we deems doubtful or had breached our Posting Guidelines.

Yuupz LLP reserves the right to terminate, amend, withdraw or supplement the redemption scheme at its sole discretion at any time without prior notice and without having to disclose any reason. The decision of Yuupz LLP on all matters relating to the redemption is final, conclusive and binding on all members and no correspondence, whether relating to the allotment of redemption or otherwise, will be entertained.

Personal Data Protection

The Member hereby agrees and consents that personal particulars collected are strictly used for several purposes including, but not limited to the following:

– analytical & statistical analysis purpose;

– sending you announcements, updates as well as marketing and promotional messages under and in relation to our Yuupz Programme (through any mode from time to time, which shall include without limitation mailers, voice calls emails and SMSes);

– compliance with any applicable rules, law and regulations, codes of practice or guidelines or to assist in law enforcement and investigations by the relevant authorities;

– administering and conducting Programme Promotions, including announcing the results of Programme Promotions, identifying and contacting the winners of the Programme Promotions, and publicising and conducting marketing in relation to Programme Promotions;

– conducting interviews, surveys and/or consumer or market related research so that we may provide you with better services which may be of relevance to you;

– All data collected will be held in a secure database system managed by Yuupz LLP and/or a data intermediary on behalf of Yuupz LLP.

We will not disclose your personal information to third parties vendors except to affiliated companies and our service providers for related purposes as required by Yuupz LLP’s professional advisors (such as auditors or lawyers).

The Member also consents that certain of the entities may be located outside Singapore. If this is the case, the Member agreed that his/her information may be transferred overseas from time to time. Yuupz shall carry out such transfers in accordance with relevant data protection laws.

You will need to ensure all your details are up to date as this will ensure successful deliveries when points are used for redemption. All personal information can be self-updated under the profile tab via the mobile App.

In the event, if you wish to withdraw your consent to any use of your Personal Data as set out herein, or if you have any questions or complaints relating to your Personal Data, you can email us at hello@yuupz.com. However, we may terminate your Membership if you choose to withdraw your consent for the collection, use, disclosure and/or processing of your Personal Data for Yuupz Purposes. Such right shall be without prejudice to our rights and remedies against you in respect of any loss or damages arising from or in connection with such termination.

Posting Policy

By uploading your reviews, photographs and/or videos, you hereby agree and consent to Yuupz LLP and its affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies including advertising agencies and parents, using the submitted photograph(s), video(s), comment(s) and other accompanying materials for publicizing, marketing, promotion and other commercial and business purposes in accordance with these terms and conditions. You also understand and agree that nothing in this agreement obligates Yuupz LLP to display or use your images.

Only upload photographs and/or videos relevant to the product and/or service and also must comply with intellectual property, privacy and other applicable laws.

You must hold the copyright of the images that you are uploading in our App. Images that are considered to infringe the copyright or trademarks of other individuals, organizations or companies will not be permitted and will be removed without any prior notice.

You must agree and request for permission to upload photograph(s) and/or video(s) that contain any people or recognizable locations that they have consented to have their image printed or displayed, or that you have full rights to use the photograph in this manner and accept full responsibility for such use. If you think that your copyright to the photograph(s) on our website has been infringed, please email us at hello@yuupz.com.

All photographs and/or videos uploaded to the App will be assessed by the Yuupz LLP Editor for suitability. The Editor have the right, but not obligated, to pursue any one or more of the following actions with regard to your reviews and/or images:

– to monitor or evaluate your review;

– to remove or refuse any reviews within our Site/App that it deems, in its sole discretion, to violate the content submission guidelines or any other provision of this Agreement; and

– to suspend or terminate your access to our Site/App if Yuupz LLP deems appropriate in the circumstances.

Company Content

Material on the Site/App provided by Yuupz LLP and/or third party, including certain graphics, photos, videos, text, screenshots, digitally downloaded files, trademarks, logos, product and program names, slogans, and the collection of the preceding (“Company Content”) is belong to Yuupz LLP and/or third party, and is protected under trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property laws in Singapore and internationally.

You agree not to download, display or use any Company Content located on the Site for use in any publications, in public performances, on websites other than this Site for any other commercial purpose, in connection with products or services that are not those of Company, in any other manner that is likely to cause confusion among consumers, that disparages or discredits Company and/or its third party, that dilutes the strength of Company’s or its third party’s property, or that otherwise infringes Company’s or its third party’ intellectual property rights. You further agree to in no other way misuse any Company Content or third party content that appears on this Site.

This also includes, without limitation, resale, transfer, modification or distribution of the application or text, photographs, video, barcodes, data, hyperlinks, displays and other content associated with the Site/App is prohibited. The user license also covers any changes to, or supplements or replacements to this Site/App unless separate terms accompany these modifications, supplements or replacements, in which case the separate terms will apply.

Price & Payment

You agreed and warrant that the payment information you provided is accurate, correct and complete when making any payments relating to our Services.

Yuupz LLP has no connection to, or is responsible for your use of a retailer website. Any activity with retailers will be covered only by the retailers terms and conditions and/or privacy policy. The product’s and/or service’s prices indicated in our Site/App are subject to change according to retailer, and there is no guarantee price stated until you select for purchase.

All payments are paid in Singapore Dollars and must be paid via electronic transfer to the nominated account of Yuupz, cheque, banker’s draft or cashier’s order.

For payments by cheque, the cheque should be crossed and made in favour of “YUUPZ LLP”. Post-dated and/or personal cheques will not be accepted.

Merchant will need to top up and pay Yuupz LLP the full price of each plan purchased and there is strictly no refund or return after purchase.

Yuupz LLP may at any time review the Charges in the Product Listing and Event Listing to the Merchant and we will notify Merchant if there are any changes in the charges.

Yuupz LLP shall prepare and deliver to the Customer invoices for the Charges on a monthly basis in arrears. All charges stated in any invoice shall be paid within thirty (30) days from the date of that invoice, failing which the Customer shall pay Yuupz LLP interest at the rate of ten per cent (10%) per annum from the due date until the date of full payment.

If the Customer, in good faith, disputes an invoice in whole or in part, please email us at hello@yuupz.com together with supporting documentation to substantiate such dispute, within thirty (30) days after the date of the invoice. The Parties shall cooperate to investigate the dispute. In the event that such dispute is discovered to be a result of any error on the part of Yuupz LLP, Yuupz LLP shall waive interest on the disputed amount at the rate of ten per cent (10%) per annum from its original due date until the date of full payment of the disputed amount.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Yuupz LLP, its directors, officers, employees, consultants, agents, and affiliates, harmless from any and all third-party claims, liability, damages and/or costs (including, but not limited to, legal fees) arising from your use of this Site/App or your breach of the Terms and Conditions.

General and Other Terms

The Management’s decision on all matters relating to the gift redemption, promotion and any campaign from Yuupz is final, conclusive and binding on all persons. No correspondence will be entertained.

The Management and its authorized agencies shall not be liable for any injury, damage or loss arising out of or in connection with gift redemption, promotion and any campaign from Yuupz. The Management reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions herein at any time at its absolute discretion without prior notice.
